DJ LeMahieu expected to be activated Tuesday

DJ LeMahieu (calf/hip) is expected to be activated from the 10-day injured list by the New York Yankees on Tuesday. Having missed the entire season so far recovering from a left calf strain and a right hip issue, manager Boone suggested LeMahieu would likely have a bench role Tuesday in Seattle before an expected start at second base in Wednesday's series finale with the Mariners. Fantasy Impact:

The 36-year-old is anticipated to see a regular role at second base for the Yankees initially while Jazz Chisholm (oblique) is on the shelf, after LeMahieu had seen most of his starts at third base and first base over the previous two seasons. In 2024, LeMahieu hit .204 with two home runs, 26 RBI, and 19 runs scored over 201 at-bats in 67 games.
