Solak has been productive at Triple-A Indianapolis this season, slashing an impressive .393/.452/.625. With Spencer Horwitz (wrist) and Enmanuel Valdez (shoulder) both on the IL, Solak is expected to see significant time at first base. He started Friday’s game against the Philadelphia Phillies at first and batted sixth, finishing 1-for-3.
