Andre Pallante fans seven in quality outing vs. Orioles
by Joel E. Ruffin Jr. | Cardinals Correspondent | Wed, May 28th 9:54am EDT
Andre Pallante allowed three earned runs on six hits and three walks while striking out seven across 5 2/3 innings in the Cardinals’ 7-4 win over the Orioles.
Fantasy Impact:
Pallante was solid through most of his start before getting into some late trouble, ultimately missing out on a quality start. He now holds a 4.23 ERA with 42 strikeouts and a 1.36 WHIP across 61.2 innings. The strikeout bump was encouraging, but command issues have kept his ceiling capped in standard leagues. He’s more viable in NL-only or deep mixed formats, especially when matchups favor groundball-heavy outcomes.
