Jesus Luzardo allowed one earned run on five hits and no walks while striking out ten over six innings in Wednesday's win against the Cubs.

After today’s performance, Luzardo now has a 4.23 ERA and 1.40 WHIP to go with a 6-2 record across 14 starts this season. This was a much needed turnaround after Luzardo allowed 20 earned runs over his last two starts. He is scheduled to start in Miami next Tuesday.
