Jose Berrios (2-3) took the loss Sunday against Philadelphia, allowing six runs on nine hits and a walk over 4.2 innings while striking out five. He yielded a run in the first and third innings, followed by two more in the fourth. His outing ended after he served up a two-run shot to Alec Bohm in the fifth.
Fantasy Impact:
The right-hander now has a 3.81 ERA and a 76:33 K:BB ratio across 87.1 innings this season. Sunday's outing, in which he allowed six runs, was the third time in his 15 outings this year he has surrendered five or more runs. It came after a five-start stretch where he had posted a 1.76 ERA over 30.2 innings. Berrios is lined up for a home matchup with the White Sox next weekend.
