Chad Patrick strikes out five but takes seventh loss

Chad Patrick (3-7) was saddled with the loss Tuesday against the Cubs after giving up four runs on six hits and two walks over five innings. The right-hander struck out five. It marked his fourth consecutive start of at least five innings, though he has now allowed a total of nine runs over his last two outings.
Fantasy Impact:
Tuesday's outing was the sixth straight appearance in which Patrick has recorded at least five strikeouts. The rookie now has a 3.50 ERA, 1.28 WHIP, and a 76:26 K:BB ratio across 79.2 innings in 2025. He'll aim to get back on track this weekend against the Twins.
