The Padres have acquired RHP Mason Miller and LHP JP Sears from the Athletics in exchange for SS prospect Leodalis De Vries. (Ken Rosenthal on Twitter)

Miller had been rumored to have drawn interest from the Padres for the past 24-48 hours. For now, he'll add to the MLB saves leader in Robert Suarez to form one of the best reliever duos in baseball.
