Raisel Iglesias Saves the Day for Braves Against Reds
by Chase Davis | Braves Correspondent | Fri, Aug 1st 9:01am EDT
Raisel Iglesias struck out one batter and earned the save while allowing no hits or walks in Thursday's victory over the Reds.
Fantasy Impact:
After today’s win, Iglesias now has a 4.74 ERA and 1.12 WHIP with 13 saves and 5 blown saves across 46 appearances this season. Iglesias has largely struggled this year, but has looked much better since the middle of June. Since June 9, he has a 2.29 ERA, 0.67 WHIP, five saves, two holds and 10.5 K/9. He wasn't moved at the deadline, nor did the Braves acquire a reliever, so he will likely stick it out as their closer the rest of the way.
