Will Warren shuts down Rangers but Yankees fall short
by Nicholas Rodriguez | Yankees Correspondent | Wed, Aug 6th 6:39am EDT
Will Warren allowed no earned runs on three hits and three walks while striking out five over five innings in Tuesday's loss to the Rangers.
Fantasy Impact:
Warren has been pitching well lately, allowing two earned runs or less in three straight starts. However, his control has been a concern, with three walks allowed in four of his last five outings. After the game yesterday, Warren boasts a 4.44 ERA and 1.42 WHIP to go with a 6-5 record across 24 starts. His next start is scheduled for Monday against the Twins.
