Carlos Carrasco struggles in brief outing against Marlins
by Chase Davis | Braves Correspondent | Fri, Aug 8th 8:33am EDT
Carlos Carrasco allowed six earned runs on nine hits and two walks while striking out two over 5.2 innings in Thursday's win against the Marlins.
Fantasy Impact:
After today’s performance, Carrasco now holds a 6.18 ERA and 1.58 WHIP with a 2-2 record across eight starts this season. He was impressive in his first start with his new club, going six innings and only allowing three runs. However, the second start was a different story. He gave up five runs in the second inning and ended up with 10 hard-hit balls. He should be left on the waiver wire for next week's start against the Mets.
