Quinn Priester struggles in short outing against Mets
by Nate Miller | Brewers Correspondent | Mon, Aug 11th 12:22pm EDT
Quinn Priester allowed six earned runs on ten hits and one walk while striking out two over 4 1/3 innings Sunday against the Mets.
Fantasy Impact:
After today’s performance, Priester now holds a 3.49 ERA and 1.24 WHIP with an impressive 11-2 record across 17 starts this season. Fortunately for the young righty, the Brewers' offense bailed him out with a comeback win. Priester had been rolling on the mound headed into Sunday's start, giving up two runs or less while working at least 5 2/3 innings in each of his previous five outings. Priester is lined up for a start in Cincinnati on Saturday.
