Nick Pivetta allowed one earned run on four hits and one walk while striking out five over 6.2 innings in Wednesday's victory against the Giants.

Pivetta bounced back nicely from his previous start on August 8, where he gave up five earned runs to the Red Sox. He has now given up two earned runs or less in eight of his last nine starts. After yesterday's win, Pivetta boasts a 2.87 ERA and 0.95 WHIP to go with a 12-4 record across 24 starts this season. His next scheduled start is Tuesday against the Giants.
