Samardzija had a surprisingly down year, leading the American League in runs allowed, hits allowed and home runs allowed. His K% (17.9%) and SwStr% (9.8%) dipped in 2015 as well. Despite all of that, I expect Samardzija to bounce back and have a solid season pitching in San Francisco where it is a fan friendly, pitching environment. You should be able to get an SP4 discount with much more upside in 2016.
