Cristopher Sanchez delivers excellent effort Thursday

Cristopher Sanchez gave up two runs on just four hits and three walks while striking out seven over 6 2/3 innings in Game 1 of Thursday's doubleheader against the Giants.
Fantasy Impact:
It looked as if this performance may actually end up in an undeserving loss for Sanchez, but the Phillies pulled off a comeback win with some clutch hitting in the ninth inning. Sanchez allowed both of the Giants' runs in the top of the first, but he dominated from that point forward. The lefty needed a strong start like this after a tough outing in Chicago last week. Sanchez will carry a 2.90 ERA and 11.2 K/9 into Tuesday's matchup with the Athletics.
