Zack Littell was designated for assignment ahead of Sunday's game against the Reds. (Arizona Diamondbacks on Twitter )

Littell has not fared well out of the Diamondbacks' bullpen since the team picked him up earlier this month, surrendering 12 runs (10 earned) on 21 hits in just 12 innings. Drey Jameson has been activated off the IL in a corresponding move.
