Matt Garza allowed one earned run on a home run to Collin Cowgill in the top of the second inning and pitched one and two-thirds innings of work in his Spring Training debut on Sunday afternoon. He allowed one hit and two walks while striking out two batters.
Fantasy Impact
Garza isn't tracking in the top 500 players on our FantasyPros ADP list, and should be mostly ignored unless you're in a very deep NL-only league. The Brewers are probably hoping that Garza starts the season strong so they can trade him as the focus on rebuilding. He'll start the season as a punt play for DFS purposes.
