Miami Marlins starter Wei-Yin Chen was brilliant on Wednesday, tossing 6 1/3 innings, allowing two runs on six hits and two walks while striking out twelve.

The twelve punch outs matched a career high for Chen. He was through six shutout innings, but allowed two base runners in the seventh and the Marlins bullpen did what they do best, Bryan Morris allowed both inherited runners to score. The Chen start was a great sign after a tough start his last time out.
