David Wright dealing with shoulder soreness

David Wright (3B - FA)

Manager Terry Collins believes David Wright is playing through and dealing with shoulder pain, as a result of his compensating for his lower back injury/spinal stenosis. Wright has lacked zip on a number of throws from third recently and has committed three errors this season so far. (Mets.com)

Fantasy Impact
It doesn't appear as if Wright is in any danger of heading to the DL as a result of the shoulder pain, but he may get more days off for rest in the near future. Seasonal owners in daily lock leagues should check the Mets' lineup before activating him. DFS players and weekly lock league owners may wish to consider other options, at least in the short term, until this issue subsides.
