Fowler attempted to run out a ground-ball in the bottom of the first inning and pulled up short. He would not come out for the top of the second inning to play the outfield as Almora took over. The last report I saw said that it was "right hamstring discomfort". According to CBS Sports, Fowler will undergo a MRI Sunday which will give more information. (CBS Sports)

This obviously would be a setback for his owners and for the Cubs who have already lost Schwarber for the season and Soler for the near-future. Until the results of the MRI come back, we are unlikely to know how long they think he will be out.
