A.J. Griffin is scheduled to start Saturday's game against the Boston Red Sox, and his return from injury couldn't come at a better time for Texas. The Rangers suddenly find themselves down three starters with the recent injuries this week to Colby Lewis and Derek Holland.
Fantasy Impact
Griffin was very effective at the start of the season, posting a 3-0 mark and a 2.94 ERA. The former A's standout has been on the shelf with right shoulder stiffness for several weeks. It will be very interesting to see how he performs his first time out with the added pressure of the Rangers really needing him at this point.
