Marco Estrada earns quality start at Coors Field

Marco Estrada (SP - FA)

Marco Estrada allowed three earned runs over six innings in Monday's 9-5 blowout loss to the Rockies at Coors Field. Estrada allowed five hits and two walks, but gave up a big three-run home run to Carlos Gonzalez in the sixth inning to lose his shutout bid. Estrada struck out eight.

Fantasy Impact
Estrada set an obscure MLB record Monday night by allowing five or fewer hits through six innings for 12 consecutive starts. Estrada has been great and is still available in some leagues. He has already matched his fWAR from last season (1.8) and sports a tremendous ERA- of 65.
