Jose Reyes has Grade 1 intercostal strain

Jose Reyes (2B,3B,SS - FA)

Jose Reyes has a Grade 1 intercostal strain and has been sent to the hospital to be examined, Terry Collins said after the Mets' doubleheader on Tuesday. According to Collins, Reyes suffered the injury in Game 1 of the doubleheader while swinging and is expected to be out for a couple of days. (SNY)

Fantasy Impact
Reyes holds minimal fantasy value in shallow fantasy formats. During his absence, Wilmer Flores should see an uptick in well-deserved playing time. Owners in deeper NL-only leagues and DFS tournament games may wish to take a flier on Flores who has been red hot in July.
