Dillon Tate, the Rangers’ fourth overall pick in the 2015 MLB draft, is headed to the Yankees for Carlos Beltran. Along with Tate right-handed pitchers Eric Swanson and Nick Green are also going to New York. (Ken Rosenthal on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact
Beltran entering today has 22 home runs and 64 RBI and those numbers will only get better in Texas. Fantasy wise this is a big step up. Furthermore, in dynasty leagues, Tate should still be valued the same and would seem to have a faster path to the majors in the Yankees farm system.
