Prove-it year for Davis after being limited the last couple of years. Still a per-game beast but you don't know how many games you'll get from him. Michael Waterloo - FantasyPros | He's another year older, and we know that Jimmy Buckets really appears during the playoffs. You have to worry about how many games he plays. Michael Waterloo - FantasyPros | |
I struggle with ranking Anthony Davis because he has only played 76 regular season games over the past two years. Still only 29 years old, he barely missed averaging a double-double with 23.2 PPG and 9.9 RPG. Davis adds even more production on FanDuel or DraftKings DFS scoring, bringing 3.5 steals/blocks per contest. He averaged 35.3 minutes per game, his highest in five seasons. However, Davis did see a drop in free-throw efficiency (71.3%, lowest in his career) and 3P marksmanship (18.6%). When Davis is healthy, he produces like a Top 10 fantasy option every, single, night. Mike Randle - FTN | Jimmy Butler is 32 years old, and has failed to reach 60 regular season games played since 2016-2017. However, when he plays he is a fantasy machine. Butler is a box scorer stuffer that has averaged over 38 FPPG in each of the past three seasons. He remains the clear top option on an NBA Championship-caliber Miami team. Few players in the Top 20 can match is 2.5 steals/blocks per game while carrying 30 PPG nightly upside. Mike Randle - FTN |
