Omri Casspi (thumb) is cleared for basketball activities

Omri Casspi has been cleared for basketball activities and is free to sign with any team. The Pelicans waived him after he suffered a fractured thumb injury, originally ruling him out for at least a month but either way the Pelicans needed another healthy player and signed Reggie Williams. Casspi is already drawing interest from the Grizzlies and Clippers among others. (Marc Stein on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
Looks like Casspi will sign with a team which will be his third this season. Casspi can provide solid scoring off the bench and with Chandler Parsons out for the season, the Grizzlies could use him. He could be a daily punt play but isn't worth owning in playoff time in season long leagues.
