Devin Booker breaks multiple records, erupts for 70 points

Devin Booker went off on Friday night, scoring 70 points on 21-for-40 shooting, including 4-for-11 from three-point range. He shot 22-for-24 from the free throw line and added eight rebounds, six assists, and three steals to his ridiculous stat line. Despite Booker’s efforts, the Suns fell to the Celtics 130-120.
Fantasy Impact:
The 70 points represented a career-high for Booker, an NBA season-high, and a franchise-record for the Suns. It was the first time an NBA player reached 70 points since Kobe Bryant dropped 81 against the Raptors back in 2006. The 20-year old Booker is just the sixth player in NBA history to score 70 points in a game, and the youngest to reach 70. Friday night’s game showcased the elite offensive abilities of the young guard and the type of production he can be capable of.
