The Charlotte Hornets have selected Malik Monk, a guard out of Kentucky, with the 11th overall pick in the 2017 NBA draft.

Monk is undersized for a shooting guard which may be why he dropped to the 11th pick. The 19-year-old is a supremely athletic scorer who has the tools to grow into a point guard. Monk will be a great fantasy option once he develops and becomes a full-time player. But he may be coming off the bench his first year and will have to find playing time behind Kemba Walker.
