Paul Pierce has been waived by the Clippers on Wednesday. Pierce announced his retirement and will likely sign a one-day contract with the Celtics to announce the official retirement. (Shams Charania on Twitter)

Paul "The Truth" Pierce will go down as one of the most clutch players in NBA history. He finishes with one NBA Finals MVP and 18th in NBA history on the All-time scoring list. He's a future Hall-of-Famer in near future.
