Pau Gasol finished Sunday night's 94-86 loss to the Pacers with 14 points on 6-for-8 shooting, missing both of his attempts from beyond the arc. He also grabbed nine rebounds to narrowly miss a double-double. Gasol did add four assists and three blocks to his stat line in 31 minutes of time on the court. He's now gone three consecutive games in double-figure scoring.
Fantasy Impact
Gasol has now strung together three straight strong games finishing in double-digit scoring in all three and grabbing at least nine rebounds in each. With Kawhi Leonard out indefinitely Gasol should see more opportunity offensively, which is evidenced by his recent numbers. Over his last five games Gasol is averaging 11 points, eight rebounds and three assists, which are numbers definitely worthy of fantasy consideration.
