Aaron Gordon is expected to return to the starting lineup on Thursday against the Knicks after missing extended time with a hip injury which also held him out of the Dunk Contest. Gordon and Nikola Vucevic are both expected to play so Mario Hezonja and Bismack Biyombo move to the bench. (John Denton on Twitter)

You can't ask for a better matchup to return to except maybe the Nets as the Knicks are playing without Kristaps Porzingis. Gordon is averaging career-high totals in points at 18.4 per game, rebounds at 8.3 per game, three-pointers at two per game, and minutes at 34 per game. He's a must-start in Thursday's matchup if he does indeed play.
