Mo Williams' 20 points not enough to get past the Kings
by Andrew Chambers | Thu, Mar 12th 3:08am EDT
Mo Williams scored 20 points on 8-20 shooting Wednesday night in a loss to the Kings. Williams also added eight assists, two rebounds and a block for Charlotte. Wednesday marked the return of Kemba Walker, after missing Charlotte's last 18 games, but Williams remained in the starting lineup and Walker came off the bench playing only 16 minutes, and scoring six points.
Fantasy Impact:
With Kemba Walker back for Charlotte, Williams' stock will definitely decline, but not as much as most people believe. Williams is still a valuable player on this roster, and his veteran leadership is just what this team needs to help get them back into the playoffs. Williams averaged 21.3 points and 8.5 assists in 11 games for Charlotte since arriving in a trade before the deadline from Minnesota. Expect those numbers to dip to around 15 and six, but hold on to him in all leagues.
