Rajon Rondo suffers 'significant' hand injury on Sunday

Rajon Rondo (G - FA)

ESPN's Dave McMenamin is reporting that Lakers guard Rajon Rondo suffered a 'significant' hand injury during practice on Sunday evening and the severity should be known by Monday morning. (Dave McMenamin on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact
This doesn't sound good for the Lakers as Rondo plays a big role in their second unit, seeing about 20.5 minutes a game so far this season. The 14-year vet underwent medical evaluation on his hand and thumb immediately after sustaining the injury and more should be known about the severity of the injury on Monday morning. If Rondo is forced to miss significant time in Orlando, Alex Caruso and Quinn Cook would be in line to benefit the most in Rondo's absence.
