Quinn Cook underwhelms in spot-start, shoots just 2-of-12 from the floor

by Adam Koffler | Fri, Aug 7th 6:40am EDT

Quinn Cook slid into the starting lineup Thursday and scored six points (2-12 FG, 2-2 FT, 0-3 3PT) with three rebounds, four assists and two turnovers across 29 minutes in loss to the Rockets.

Fantasy Impact:

The Lakers were without primary ball-handler LeBron James in this one, so Cook got the spot-start at point guard. He played almost 30 minutes, but didn't make the most of his opportunity. He was averaging just five minutes per game in his previous three, and he'll likely head right back to the bench when James returns to the starting lineup.
