As the Thunder lost to the Grizzlies, 100-92, Reussell Westbrook went 5-for-20 from the floor Friday. Westbrook finished his night going 8-for-13 from the free throw line to total 18 points. He added in seven rebounds, seven assists in 38 minutes.
Fantasy Impact
For all of the triple-doubles and high scoring performances Westbrook as had since the All-Star break, he has struggled mightily with his shot from the floor, especially from deep. The point guard is putting up over 22 shots per game , the last 10 games, and only making 35 percent of them. It gets worse past 23 feet. Taking 5.6 attempts from three, Westbrook is only making 25 percent of them. While there is no denying Westbrook's MVP candidacy, I would argue he is lagging behind in fantasy due to his poor percentages.
