Sabonis suffered a left knee contusion Monday against the Raptors. With the all-star being day-to-day, look for Doug McDermott to see an expanded role in the rotation. Up until Monday, he scored double-digit points in five straight games and has recorded only four games this month in which he didn’t have more than 10.0 points. He has been involved more heavily in the rotation in January; however, should Sabonis miss extended time, McDermott will need to do more to help address the skills gap left in his absence. McDermott is a viable value play in DFS formats, given the opportunity.
