Elfrid Payton logs 14 minutes in win over Rockets

Elfrid Payton managed seven points (3-6 FG, 1-1 3PT), one assist and two steals across 14 minutes during Sunday’s 122-97 win over the Rockets.
Fantasy Impact:
Payton continues to start for the Knicks but has failed reach double figures in scoring since April 14. Despite being the Knicks starting point guard, he continues to lose playing time to Derrick Rose and rookie PG Immanuel Quickley. With the fantasy basketball season coming to an end, Payton should only be rostered in deep-league formats. The 27-year-old is averaging 11.1 points, 3.5 rebounds, 3.4 assists, 0.8 steals, and 0.5 triples across 24.8 minutes in 2020-21. Payton will look to bounce back Monday, away against the Grizzlies.
