Eugene Omoruyi emerges for 20 points in Friday victory

by Dan Tursky | Wizards Correspondent | Fri, Nov 11th 11:49pm EST

Eugene Omoruyi poured in 20 points (8-10 FG, 5-6 3P, 1-2 FT) to go along with three rebounds, an assist, and a steal over 27 minutes in a Friday evening 132-113 win over the Raptors.

Fantasy Impact:

Omoruyi is part of a committee filling in for the injured Darius Bazley and he stepped up big time off the bench on Friday. The 22 points came at an incredibly high clip and marked a season-high in points by a longshot. Omoruyi had been averaging under ten minutes per game prior to Friday but proved that he deserves more playing time going forward. He can quickly become a part of the regular rotation with performances like these.
