Tim Hardaway Jr. (left ankle) ruled out for Friday

by Evan Ritter | Mavericks Correspondent | Fri, Apr 7th 1:10pm EDT

Tim Hardaway Jr. has been ruled out for Friday’s game against the Bulls due to left ankle soreness. (Mavs PR)

Fantasy Impact:

Hardaway, along with multiple other Mavericks including Kyrie Irving (foot) will miss tonight’s game against the Bulls despite it being a must-win matchup to keep their postseason chances alive. Luka Doncic is still listed as probable, so while they may not be giving up all hope, they certainly aren’t all-in when it comes to fighting for a shot at the playoffs. With five players in total already ruled out, it seems they may be prioritizing their draft position more than anything. In terms of fantasy hoops, it’s hard to fully count on any player in the Mavericks’ rotation tonight outside of Doncic. However, with so many minutes now needing to be soaked up, there will surely be DFS value and streaming options that become available once starting lineups are announced.
