Kendall Marshall to sign with 76ers

Kendall Marshall (G - FA)

Free agent point guard Kendall Marshall is finalizing a multi-year agreement with the 76ers. Marshall is coming off a torn ACL he suffered on January 15, but is expected to be ready at the start of training camp. The 6'4" guard averaged 4.2 points and 3.1 assists in 28 games with Milwaukee last season. (Yahoo! Sports)

Fantasy Impact
Philadelphia's point guard situation is atrocious with Tony Wroten getting the stamp of approval recently. Marshall has proven to be a reliable shooter and distributor. He was 39 percent from three with 8.8 assists per game in 2013-14 in 45 starts with the Lakers. While he may be brought on slowly, due to the knee injury, Marshall can easily take charge of the 76ers point guard rotation by mid-season. He is definitely a good choice for a late-round pick in most fantasy leagues.
