Although there are likely only a couple ope roster spots at forward and center, undrafted Christian Wood out of UNLV is making a case for himself. Coach Brett Brown has taken notice of Wood's athletic ability and considerable range for a big man. Wood could be considered a long shot, but the 76ers are in a rebuilding process, which could increase his chances to land a roster spot. How much playing time and how effective Wood will be remains to be seen, but he's one to keep an eye on this preseason.
