Furkan Aldemir notches double-double in loss
by Kerry Kauffman | Fri, Oct 16th 10:48pm EDT
The Philadelphia 76ers fell to the Washington Wizards on Friday by the score of 127-118. Despite the loss, there were some bright spots for the 76ers. One was the play of Furkan Aldemir, who scored 12 points and hauled in 14 rebounds in 26 minutes of action. Aldemir shot 4-of-6 from the floor and also added three assists, two steals and a blocked shot.
Fantasy Impact:
Aldemir is battling for a roster spot and hence some playing time this season. He showed glimpses of being a force on the boards, but not much on the offensive end of the court. If he can keep producing like he did on Friday, Aldemir should see some decent minutes in the middle moving forward.
