Mark Williams to miss preseason opener Friday

Williams has participated in every training camp activity except 5-on-5 drills, according to Phoenix Suns head coach Jordan Ott. The Suns are being cautious with Williams, who has played in a combined 106 games across his first three NBA seasons, with less than 45 games each season. The team will ease him into action to make sure he's healthy for the start of the regular season.
