Fantasy Impact:
Smart has been gradually ramping up during training camp while recovering from an Achilles injury, and JJ Redick said he’s looked really good in practice this past week. The Lakers play on Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday, so Smart will likely suit up for one of the back-to-back games and again on Friday. With LeBron James (sciatica) expected to miss the start of the regular season, Smart is competing with Jake LaRavia and Jarred Vanderbilt for a spot in the starting lineup.
