Luka Dončić put up big counting stats in Tuesday’s loss to Detroit, finishing with 30 points (9-of-22 FGs, 9-of-13 FTs), five rebounds, 11 assists, and three three-pointers.
Fantasy Impact:
While the 30-point double-double offered plenty of value for fantasy managers, it was a messy performance overall. Dončić committed eight turnovers and had several defensive lapses as the Lakers struggled to compensate for the absence of Austin Reaves, who is now expected to miss at least four weeks with a calf injury. With the game slipping away in the third quarter, Dončić sat for the final four minutes. The Lakers will look to regroup when they close out the week with a pair of games against the Grizzlies on Friday and Sunday.
