Murphy was a late addition to the injury report with lower back soreness, which will keep him out of Friday’s contest. With Herbert Jones (ankle), Saddiq Bey (hip) and Derik Queen (quad) also sidelined, the New Orleans Pelicans are expected to rely heavily on Jeremiah Fears, Jordan Poole, Micah Peavy and Zion Williamson.
