Ryan Kalkbrenner (elbow) 'progressing well'

Charlotte Hornets head coach Charles Lee said on Wednesday that Ryan Kalkbrenner is "progressing well” and has begun participating in some team activities. (Rod Boone on Twitter)

Kalkbrenner has missed the Hornets’ last nine games as he continues to nurse a left elbow sprain. While coach Lee did not provide a clear timetable for his return, he said the team will continue to evaluate him after each team activity. As long as he remains sidelined, Moussa Diabate is expected to continue starting at center.
