Gui Santos suffers ankle injury Thursday

Gui Santos told Golden State Warriors head coach Steve Kerr following Thursday’s 126-113 win over the New York Knicks that he does not believe his ankle injury is a bad sprain. (Dalton Johnson on Twitter)

Santos exited Thursday’s and was unable to return, finishing with three points (1-1 FG, 1-1 3PT), one rebound and one block in five minutes. It appears he may have avoided a serious injury. The Warriors should provide an update on Santos’ availability for Saturday’s game against the Charlotte Hornets when they release their injury report Friday evening.
