Jalen Johnson flirts with triple-double Wednesday

by David Leisering | Hawks Correspondent | Thu, Jan 22nd 7:59am EST

Jalen Johnson poured in a game-high 32 points (10-21 FG, 2-6 3PT, 10-11 FT), pulled down a game-high 15 boards, and posted a team-high eight assists in the Hawks' 124-122 win over Memphis on Wednesday.

Fantasy Impact:

After three straight games of scoring no more than 13 points, Johnson is averaging 30.0 points, 15.5 rebounds, and 7.0 assists over his last two contests. Wednesday's effort marked the eighth time this season that Johnson has scored at least 30 points in a game. He's still struggling a bit with his shot, however, as he is just 34-of-85 (40.0%) from the floor over his last five games. But, Johnson is still shooting 51.1% on the season, so an improvement there should be on the way. The Hawks play the Suns on Friday.
