Dallas Mavericks head coach Jason Kidd said Kyrie Irving is in good spirits, feels great and is working extremely hard in rehab. Kidd added that Irving remains without a clear timeline to return, noting that coming back from an ACL injury is a process both mentally and physically. While no schedule has been set, Kidd suggested Irving would likely return after the All-Star break. (Mike Curtis on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
Irving has been sidelined since March 2025 after suffering a torn ACL and undergoing surgery. While Kidd said Irving wants to play, he emphasized that returning from an ACL injury is a time-based process. The Mavericks will continue to take a cautious approach, and it appears Irving’s return would not come until after the All-Star break.
