Jock Landale has career night in first game with Hawks
by David Leisering | Hawks Correspondent | Fri, Feb 6th 9:25am EST
Jock Landale had a night to remember in his first game with Atlanta as he tied a career-high with 26 points (10-14 FG, 5-8 3PT, 1-2 FT) and added 11 rebounds, five assists, and four blocks to lift the Hawks to a 121-119 win over the Jazz on Thursday.
Fantasy Impact:
Welcome to Atlanta, Jock Landale. The center, who was shipped from Utah to Memphis, and then to the Hawks earlier in the week, got revenge against his former team on Thursday night. He tied, or set, career-highs in points (26), assists (5), and three-pointers (5), and also set a season-best in blocks with four. Landale started in place of the injured Onyeka Okongwu, so we'll see what minutes look like once Okongwu returns. But, until that occurs, it looks like Landale will provide an immediate impact for the Hawks.
